Following our profile of You And What Army earlier in the week, it's time to meet Essex lads Never Means Maybe as they face our 20 Questions interrogation.

Ready to find out who does the best Gollum impression, which member would make the best Blue Peter presenter and who would taste the best spitroasted on a desert island?

Singer Renz spills the beans...

1) If your band were Prime Minister for the day what three things would you do?
Lower the price of beer, make it mandatory that pro-wrestling was on terrestrial TV and make Morrissey a lord.

2) Which other Red Bull Bedroom Jam bands do you love and why?
Underline The Sky have a video on this bad boy and they're awesome and friends of ours, Lecarla seem pretty cool too.

3) As a band, what would be your karaoke number?
I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing by Aerosmith. Hands down! The sing-a-longs we've had to that song in our van are epic.

4) Which member of the band would make the best TV presenter, and what kind of show should they front?
Definitely Matt, he should be a Blue Peter presenter without a doubt.

5) What were you called before you finally settled on your current band name, and why? Why did you ditch it?
Matt and Drew played in a band called Covers before we became Never Means Maybe, why the change? Well they were a cover band and they were called Covers, we play our own stuff, though I do actually think Covers is quite a cool name!

6) Other than voting for you in RBBJ, what’s the best thing about your fans? What makes them unique?
They're just like really cool nice people, not into fads or scenes or whatever, just genuine, nice and loyal people and we really appreciate their support in not only RBBJ, but everything!

7) Which band in the world would you most want to play a show with a why?
For me it'd probably be The Used as they kinda got me into the type of music we play, for all of us I think perhaps Story Of The Year as that's the one band that no matter what we can all agree that we love.

8) As a band, what one word do you all use far too much?
Ass. Definitely Ass.

9) What one thing do you envy about another band that you wish you had?
Jonny Craig from Emarosa's voice.

10) What one food and one drink could the whole band live off for a whole tour?
Hmmmmm, tough one, Matt has the stomach of a three year old (in the nicest possible way!) so to accommodate him as we are actually rather fond of him and don't want him to die of thirst / hunger it'd probably have to be water and bread, you see the bond we have in this band?

We're willing to eat just water and bread so one of us won't die!

11)  If you’re band were the A Team, who would be who?
Bert would definitely be Mr.T as he is the coolest guy ever, Matt would be Hannibal as he's the responsible one, I'd probably be Murdoch as I'm just kinda quite weird and Drew would be Face, purely because of his winning smile!

12)  If you could put on your own festival which 5 bands would play and who would headline? Where would it be and who would host it?
Linkin Park to headline, Taking Back Sunday, Story Of The Year, Glassjaw, Emarosa would also be playing, I reckon right here in Chelmsford would be fine, we have V here, so we could just invade that!

Frankie Boyle to host it as well, best between band entertainment ever!

13)  Who in the band has the strangest talent and what is it? Note you may be ask ed to provide video evidence!
Hmm, I found out the other day that Bert and Matt have an abnormally large finger span which is very... odd.

Not sure that's a talent though? I can do a pretty sweet Gollum impression.

14)  Who in the band has the worst habits? Feel free to name and shame.
We don't really have any bad habits I don't think. Maybe we all have loads it's just we've spent so much time together on the road we've just got used to them all!

15)  What’s the best useless fact you know.
There are only three squad numbers that have been retired in the English Premiership, number 6 for Bobby Moore at West Ham and number 25 for Gianfranco Zola at Chelsea and number 23 for Marc-Vivien Foe at Manchester City.

16)  As a band, who are your heroes?
We all have individual bands and artists that we look up to but as I said earlier, the one band we can always agree on is Story Of The Year.

17)  You’re stranded on a desert island, which member of your band do you eat first and why?
I reckon a spitroasted Bert would taste fantastic, I can't put my finger on why though.

18)  Who in the band has the most embarrassing first gig? Name and shame please.
I'm not sure really, not heard any tales of first gigs from the other guys, at my first gig I thought it'd be a brilliant idea to do an impromptu cover of that United States of Whatever song that was big at the time.

I was wrong, I'm an idiot.

19)  Which of your songs has the most ludicrous title? What does it mean?
Probably 'Ziva Killed Houdini' quite a simple story though, I was watching NCIS (I love that show!) and there's a wicked Israeli female assassin character in it called Ziva and a couple of the characters were talking about her and somehow got onto the subject of her killing Houdini which made me laugh alot and I thought it was a wicked name for a song. Simple!

20)  What’s your ultimate goal as a band?
I think we'd all like the be able to make a decent living from the band, to travel the world with it and to enjoy it! So far we travel Great Britain and we definitely enjoy it so we're on 1 and a half out of 3 at the moment!
