They have one of the most dedicated fanbases on the RBBJ site, so we caught up with Sacred Betrayal to find out which of the Glaswegian 5-piece played his first gig dressed as Bananaman, who should present the weather on GMTV and which member can't fit into a kangaroo's pouch...

1. If your band were Prime Minister for the day what three things would you do?
   We'd do this
   




2. Which other Red Bull Bedroom Jam bands do you love and why?
   We're digging Never Means Maybe, they played a brilliant set at Download. But we actually all like all of the bedroom jam bands.. no two sound the same, all great people too!




3. As a band, what would be your karaoke number?
   'The Final Countdown' by Europe.. ANTHEM AND A HALF!




4. Which member of the band would make the best TV presenter, and what kind of show should they front?
   Will would be great on GMTV, he'd be great doing the weather ahaha




5. What were you called before you finally settled on your current band name, and why? Why did you ditch it?
   We were called "Asmodai".. that was in the first stages of creating the band, Will and Rikki were thinking of it and scrapped it coz it wasn't quite SB!




6. Other than voting for you in RBBJ, what’s the best thing about your fans? What makes them unique?
   They are the most persistent, loyal fans ever, could not ask for a better fanbase! Their efforts will never go forgotten.




7. Which band in the world would you most want to play a show with a why?
   There's so many! Bands like Lostprophets, Brand New, 30 Seconds To Mars and Paramore! Mostly because we love them! And our music is a little different from them all but has similarities so the crowd, we reckon, would really enjoy us!




8. As a band, what one word do you all use far too much?
   It's a four letter word... it's not to be thrown around lightly... some people are scared to use it... it can be awkward for teenagers to say to their parents....LOVE!




9. What one thing do you envy about another band that you wish you had?
   Hayley Williams' courage on Twitter! 




10. What one food and one drink could the whole band live off for a whole tour?
    Rustler burgers and strongbow! A mighty combo




11. If you’re band were the A Team, who would be who?
    Will would be all members.. at the same time...




12. If you could put on your own festival which 5 bands would play and who would headline? Where would it be and who would host it?
    It'd have to be somewhere warm... the bands would be SB, Brand New, The Devil Wears Prada, Fall Out Boy and Between The Buried And Me! The host... the host would be someone funny.. like Kevin Bridges... or Limmy!




13. Who in the band has the strangest talent and what is it?
    Scott's really good at jump kicking. We've got video evidence, we submitted it to You've Been Framed but unfortunately they didn't use it because it was just too awesome




14. Who in the band has the worst habits? Feel free to name and shame.
    Ian can never get on the right train / bus. Once, trying to get to practice, he ended up in Lockerbie, on the Manchester airport train!




15. What’s the best useless fact you know.
    Well... there's no such thing as a useless fact but an irrelevant fact I like would have to be... there is definitely NOT enough room in a kangaroos pouch to fit Will in.... we learned that from experience :(




16. As a band, who are your heroes?
    Superman, Batman and Spiderman. But apart from that, gonna have to say that our fans are for sticking by us for these tough 18 weeks.




17. You’re stranded on a desert island, which member of your band do you eat first and why?
    Ian - he's clearly the fattest.




18. Who in the band has the most embarrassing first gig?
    Well... Ian played his first gig with Sacred Betrayal in a Bananaman costume... saying that... it was Hallowe'en!




19. Which of your songs has the most ludicrous title? What does it mean?
    Our newest song, 'Spiders' is named after all the spiders that live in Will's shed. The song's pretty fast, just like the spiders.




20. What’s your ultimate goal as a band?
    Our ideal view of success is being able to do what we are already doing full time.
