The Judges Meet To Make Their Decision!

It's been a tough day at Red Bull towers as four of the biggest voices in UK rock music met to talk about one thing and one thing only: Red Bull Bedroom Jam's festival line-up.

Meeting around the table to chat, listen and watch videos were (left to right) Rocksound's Darren Taylor, The Agency's Beckie Sugden, Fightstar's Charlie Simpson, and the man responsible for bringing AC/DC (!) to Download and booking the rest of its whopping line-up, Andy Copping.

They spent hours arguing, championing their favourites and discussing the formation of festival line-ups, and its now just three days until we reveal their decisions!

You put the bands on the Festival Chart and now Charlie, Beckie, Darren and Andy have to whittle that down to six bands.

They also have to pick a single Wild Card act from all the videos they've seen over the past few months.

The eighth act will of course be selected by you: the band at the top of the Festival Chart at 4pm on 7th June.

Make sure you're on the website Monday afternoon to stay on top of all the announcements as we tell you who YOU'LL be watching at the biggest and best rock 'n' roll festivals the UK has to offer!

loser token get my vote - can just see them at the festivals, come rain or shine their songs will go down a storm (see what i did there?) - go tokens.;)

vanessamd (wrote 13 weeks 2 days ago)

LECARLA. Yes, all the bands deserve their place at the festivals, really, if hard work and sheer determination are the criteria. This RBBJ has been a long and emotionally exhausting enterprise for the majority of them on the festival chart! But for guts, talent, charisma, absolute dedication and all round total niceness, LECARLA get my vote. And 'Dilligaf' youtube video now up to about 20,000 views in such a short time. Wow....

Vassili (wrote 13 weeks 3 days ago)

All of these bands have worked very hard over the last few weeks but unfortunately they all can't be winners but I really hope HELLO HELLO is a winner!

cardinalchazmcbell (wrote 13 weeks 3 days ago)

Silent Descent - king among men.

djdonuts61 (wrote 13 weeks 3 days ago)

If hard work and commitment get you to festivals , there`s only one band in this competition , it`s not yer maw , she`s not quite SB , just look back all the weeks this has been running

uncle leeum (wrote 13 weeks 3 days ago)

there is really only one band who have put in a real shift between them and their rapidly growing support, they have led almost entirely from start to finnish .the last 16 weeks or more has been a tribute to that dedication and their music ,energy, imagination, and vitality backs them up as a real exciting prospect.GOOD LUCK SACRED BETRAYAL.

I agree with someones comment about how, not all the concerts and festivals would suit a heavy metal band.
theres a few bands here that are pretty heavy that would standout like a sore thumb, but theres bands like No Mean City - who are easy on the ears, easy on the eyes and are a hard working band, who would fit in at any of the festival slots.

But each to their own, and best of luck to all bands involved.

lameyxx (wrote 13 weeks 3 days ago)

never means maybe should be a highly obvious choice don't you think?

Annique (wrote 13 weeks 3 days ago)

Theres no denying their energy and live presence! People wouldn't be able to resist rocking out with them. I can't wait to see them up there!

GREEKGODESS (wrote 13 weeks 3 days ago)

Hello Hello are dedicated young musicians who enjoy playing music so much. I believe that they would be a good choice for the festivals and I wish them the best of luck.

poppunkguy (wrote 13 weeks 3 days ago)

Judged on all round performance, technical ability great songs and likeability the winners must be Loser Token!

vanessamd (wrote 13 weeks 3 days ago)

LECARLA. They tick all the boxes. LECARLA, LECARLA.

dymundgrrl (wrote 13 weeks 4 days ago)

definate definatey no mean city to win...they have played two mini festivals in northern ireland...both on the same day & totally rawked both of them!!!!

wrongomongo (wrote 13 weeks 4 days ago)

Loser Token for the win!
They are a band that anyone can listen to and enjoy, perfect for ALL the festivals. With their catchy tunes and memorable lyrics, you'll want to see them again and again.. and wait 'til you hear their Michael Jackson medley, OH MY WOW!!
POP-PUNKTASTIC!

Playing.In.Traffic (wrote 13 weeks 4 days ago)

sacred betrayal deserive to be there

Go-Naaads (wrote 13 weeks 4 days ago)

Silent Descent for the win!! definitely a festival band, most of the other bands id enjoy watching at a pub gig.. not a festival.

monk (wrote 13 weeks 5 days ago)

No Mean City to go all the way ;D

AliS (wrote 13 weeks 5 days ago)

Not all the festivals are Heavy ...

Heavy bands will be out of place at TITP x

potticus (wrote 13 weeks 5 days ago)

For download and sonisphere, there's no better band than Silent Descent, so much of the rest of generic, boring and has been made a million times over. Time for something heavy as frakk with crazy dancing!

Rosalee (wrote 13 weeks 5 days ago)

Stand-Up Guy to get through!

Ryan_Reeves (wrote 13 weeks 5 days ago)

I hope they chose wisely. By wisely I mean Lecarla.

ianzebub (wrote 13 weeks 5 days ago)

Nerve racking?

Yes

vanessamd (wrote 13 weeks 5 days ago)

Will be travesty if LECARLA not selected...Just look at the youtube views of their new song 'Dilligaf'. About 18000 within a couple of weeks of posting.

Claire C (wrote 13 weeks 5 days ago)

The Gap Year Riot! better get through :) xXx

@deanr
The complete and utter final decision won't be made until after the 4pm deadline.

deanr (wrote 13 weeks 5 days ago)

ah so nervous now.

out of interest if they've chosen 6 bands and a 7th wild card.. what happens if one of their 6 bands comes top of the chart? if that makes sense.

HelloConnor (wrote 13 weeks 5 days ago)

it really is!!
hope they like Hello! Hello! :)

Lethallizzle (wrote 13 weeks 5 days ago)
